Meet and Greet
It has been my privilege to be a Calvary volunteer for nearly eight years. Since becoming a volunteer, my dear late husband Warren was a patient in Palliative care. This experience as both carer and a volunteer has touched me deeply and has enabled me to understand the journeys that others are going through.
As a Meet and Greet volunteer I am able to welcome both patients and their families when they are admitted to Calvary and assist them to settle into their new environment.
There are also other opportunities to assist visitors and staff as the need arises.
I find this both a most rewarding and important part of my life.
