Evening Volunteer
I've had some special moments at Calvary. I remember giving a foot massage to a patient on a Tuesday evening when her daughter & other family members arrived just as I was finishing. When I came into the hospital on Thursday morning, I recognised the daughter in the corridor & smiled at her. She grabbed my arm & said "Thank you so much. You don't know what a difference you made for my mother". I was surprised and touched as it hadn't felt particularly special at the time. You don't realise the impact you can have on other people. I love that about Calvary.
