Supporting the hospital in such a practical way
The Ladies Auxiliary is such a dedicated group of volunteers who work throughout the year raising funds for Calvary. Working in our hospital coffee shop is an important service that we provide to our patients and their visitors, and to our staff. It's such a great opportunity not just to provide them with food and beverages, but it is the way in which it is done, making people feel welcomed and providing a bit of light relief. All monies raised from our coffee shop, annual fete and market stalls are donated annually to the hospital.
Besides supporting the hospital in such a practical way, belonging to the auxiliary has those unseen benefits of doing something worthwhile and the sense of belonging to such an enthusiastic group of volunteers.
